Cheeseburger Casserole

This Cheeseburger Casserole was not my favorite in the world.  I am not sure what I need to do to make it better.  Maybe a little less of one thing and a little more of another.  I want to try and get it to taste right.  My kids, however, really enjoyed it.

Cheeseburger Casserole

Ground Beef

2 tsp. seasoned salt

Seasoning

28 oz. whole tomatoes

14.5 ozs. tomato sauce

1 c. water

2 c. chicken broth

1/4 c. ketchup

1 tsp. dijon mustard

1 lb. noodles (I used rotini)

2 c. cheddar

Brown ground beef, seasoned salt, and seasoning.  Drain.  Add in tomato sauce, whole tomatoes, water, chicken broth, ketchup, dijon, and noodles.  Bring to a boil.  Add 1 cup (or more cause I love cheese) of cheddar and stir it in.  Now, I use a large electric skillet.

This is where I would put the lid on let simmer until noodles are done.  In the oven, I would cover and bake at 350 for about 30 minutes.  After that time, take off the lid (or aluminum) and add the remaining cheese.  Return to oven until cheese is melted.
