Psalm 125

Psalm 125

Psalm 125.  How confronting to know that the Lord surrounds me? The enemies can be closing in and yet, there He is.  Bigger.  He has me engulfed around His arms and nothing can get to me.  Why can’t I rest in that?  I let so many thoughts swarm my head.  Sadly, I feel like I am alone more times than not.  Honestly, I am not alone.  Since the day I asked Jesus into my heart, I have never been alone.  He is always with me.  Loving me and protecting me all the days of my life.

Psalm 125

Those who trust in the Lord are as secure as Mount Zion;
    they will not be defeated but will endure forever.
Just as the mountains surround Jerusalem,
    so the Lord surrounds his people, both now and forever.
The wicked will not rule the land of the godly,
    for then the godly might be tempted to do wrong.
Lord, do good to those who are good,
    whose hearts are in tune with you.
But banish those who turn to crooked ways, O Lord.
    Take them away with those who do evil.

May Israel have peace!
