Anniversary Trip Day 8

On Anniversary Trip Day 8, we went to the Mansfield Reformatory.

It was WOW and WOW.

I have lots of pictures.

The thought of how many young men died in this prison was mindboggling.

We also headed into Big Daddy’s parent’s hometown of Cardington, OH.

There, we met up with his aunt and uncle.  They were gracious enough to let us stay with them overnight.  They took us out to a cool little diner.

We left the diner and headed to the campground where I got to meet another aunt and uncle (after 20 years of marriage).

We stayed and chatted for a while and then headed back to the house to sleep.

Anniversary Trip Day 6

On our Anniversary Trip Day 6, we slept in and it was lovely.

We went to the mall and I had my first experience in the Coach store.

Big Daddy let me in the store, alone. Big, big, BIG mistake.

The colors and the smells dazzled my senses.

Big Daddy tried to whisk me away… he did so in vain.  I was helpless in the clearance section.  Also, I also had a 50% off coupon.

It was too much.

I succumbed to the powers of the store and bought a bag.  It was fabulous.  However, since I bought a bag, I I told Big Daddy that I would go see a movie of his choice.

It was X Men.

Say a prayer.

In my opinion, these movies are stupid.

Anniversary Trip Day 5

Anniversary Trip Day 5.  Spent the day in Canada, today.

It was breathtaking.

We saw many nations represented.

In addition to the Falls, we saw Tibetan Monks, Rabbis, a sweet Jewish family, lots of Amish and Mennonites.

Amongst the many many people…. we looked up and ran into old friends. We have not seen these friends in years.  They were as shocked as we were.

Tonight we had dinner at Fuji Grill.  It was a hibachi grill and it was wonderful.

We were blessed enough to share our table with a traveling couple from Indiana.

We laughed, shared, and talked the whole time.

Tremendous day.

Anniversary Trip Day 4

20th Anniversary Trip Day 4.  One word…  The beauty is breathtaking.  I did not care for the Maid of the Mist.  Sadly, I felt like fish urine was being sprayed in my face.  Big Daddy, however, loved it.  Boats terrify me.  This was an easy ride, but it is the drowning aspect that freaks me out.  I do, though, swim very well for inquiring minds.

Finally, we have made it to our destination.  I am so excited to see Niagara Falls.  For now, we rest up until tomorrow.  Anxiously awaiting the view of a lifetime.

Go to the local Animal Express Store.  Honestly, they will have all that you need to locate the infamous Big Foot.

Worlds Largest Horseshoe Crab.

This crab was featured in one of the Twilight movies.  It was depicted on a quilt that someone was making out of old t-shirts.  Funny enough, it was conveniently located next door to the local laundromat.  It is in the middle of nowhere.

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday To the man that I swore, before God, to love, honor, respect, and obey.

Happy Birthday

I love you, Big Daddy.

Completely and Forever.

If I had it all to do over again, I would choose you.  Also, I would choose your homemade pizza!  Plus, you buy me coke all the time.  That is a huge bonus.  You have my heart.  I plan on spending the rest of forever and eternity loving your face off.  Added bonus, whipping your butt in Phase 10.

Happy Birthday.

Bucket List Accomplishment

Bucket List Accomplishment.  Went to the store.

Saw a pack of 6 for a dollar.

Couldn’t resist.

Bucket List Accomplishment

People would sling their buggies while diverting their eyes.  No one made eye contact or even spoke to me.

There were snickers around me.  People refused to enter the aisle I was in.  I found myself rubbing my stache and thinking “I get it now.”

Quickest in and out of grocery store EVER.

Love.

If you have not stepped out of your box lately, I vote to do it!  Life is too short not to laugh at yourself or make another person laugh.  I had the most fun.
